Primark and New Look Haul

Last weekend I went shopping in Manchester with my mum. I had a look around the usually shops I go into but only really picked things up from Primark and New Look so I thought I would do a haul and show you what I got. I have also included some additional photographs of possible outfit ideas I might pair my new clothes with. Hope you enjoy!

Let's start with Primark:

I was in need of some nice new cosy and warm pj's as Winter has definitely kicked in now. Primark have a large collection of pj's and wonderful choices I found it hard to pick. So I opted for these. They were £7 each.

Another set of pj's I bought were these festive ones. These were marked at £7.00 too. I already know these will be my pj's I wear on the morning of Christmas unwrapping my presents. (Such a child).

As I love onesies so much I saw this Minnie Mouse one and I couldn't resist. This one was the most expensive onesie I have ever bought, but you are paying more because it is Disney. This one was priced at £13. I got the 6-8 size and it still very big on me but I like bigger pj's and I am sure this would probably shrink in the wash anyway. This onesie is so comfy and soft. I love the hood on it.

When I was in Primark I tried a variety of jumpers on as I don't tend to have that many. The ones I did pick up I tried them on and they didn't look as nice as they did when they were on the hangers. However, I love this daisy jumper and even though daisy's are thought of being summery I didn't care I loved the colour's and the thickness of the jumper. This was priced at £14.

I have paired this daisy jumper with my black skater skirt which I got from a shop called International. I am in need of a new black skater skirt as this one has started to look a little bit worn.

I also think this jumper looks really nice with a simple statement necklace which is a Primark purchase from a previous shopping trip a few months ago. I also think this has a very Autumn look with my brown boots from Clarks.

I think this would make a perfect Christmas or birthday present or just a present for yourself in my case. This is a make up brush case, this is very handy for me when I go visit my boyfriend or go on holiday's. I have had in the past so many make up brush's bristles damage when they are in my make up bag because the products are piled on top of them.

Please note: the brush's in this photograph below did not come in the case, I put them in it for purposes for this photograph.

These next two are actually presents and not for myself, shock horror! But I thought I would include them because I think they are amazing. They basically split earphones so if you are on a airplane or bus or anywhere you can actually listen to your friend's Ipod music.

Now for the New Look purchases:

So I also needed a few more jumpers so I ended up picking these two up. One is a mint coloured jumper it isn't as thick as normal jumpers but still soft cosy material. The other jumper is yet another daisy printed jumper I really like this one. This was priced at £17.99

I ended up pairing this jumper with my navy and green tartan skirt. I thought it made the outfit have a girly feel to it. To add a bit of colour I wore my brown boots from Clarks.

I also put my Topshop collared shirt under the jumper.

The next jumper I bought was this mint jumper. This isn't a thick jumper so I would have to layer this up to be more warmer. This was £14.99.

I think this necklace which I got from H&M a couple of months ago looks lovely with this outfit, it really brightens the look up. I think this jumper would also look really nice with a shirt underneath it with a collar just like my Topshop one.

With this outfit I paired it with my plain black skater skirt. This jumper would also look really nice with just leggings as it is longer than other jumpers I own.

I have paired these clarks boots yet again with the outfit as I think they really do make an outfit look nice and cosy and warm. These are from Clarks and they are my second pair I have owned (I also have them in black) I wore my previous brown boots so much that they looked battered so the end of last year I repurchased them because I was in love.

My next purchase was this long red maxi dress from New Look. I am going to my works Christmas party in a few weeks time and needed a nice new dress. This photo makes the colour look a lot redder than it is, it is a dark deep red colour.

I love the detailing and the shape of the dress. It can be worn without the straps or with them. It also has padding so you don't actually have to wear a bra with it either. I got it in size 10 the dress.

As it is a maxi dress and like all my other max dresses I will need to get it shortened as it is very long on me and as I am petite it is a pain when you find a nice maxi dress you have to pay extra for someone to shorten it. This dress was priced at £54.99 which was more expensive than what I wanted to pay for a dress for the occasion but because of the detailing I can understand why it is more expensive.
