It has been awhile

I can't believe my last published blog post was 27th September and we are now on 20th October! Time is flying! Sometimes life and work get in the way and there's nothing you can do about it. 

So my brother has finally moved out of the family home and gone and bought a house with his girlfriend. They have had the house for awhile but not moved in as they have been doing it up. Due to him moving out I have now moved into his old bedroom which means I have a bigger room. It has taken me ages to move into his room because I have been buying new furniture and having a massive throw out too. I will insert some photographs of the new room for you to have a nosy at!

I didn't decorate or paint to room I just bought some new furniture and accessories as well as new bedding. I decided to stay with the light blue theme as well as adding grey to it which I think looks really nice.

I bought new pillows, throw and already had the mirrored lamp and flowered canvas which I got when I was at University which was from B&M if you have never been in that shop I advise you to go. They do variety of things for low prices but still good quality in my opinion. I also got new bedding which was from a shop called The Range. 

 

I really like these heart dangly things you put on walls I think they create a cute feel to a room and have got these both from The Range. 

Here is some more, I got the one on the left from a shop when I went to Sweden a couple of years ago and the other one is from Wales from a craft store I am not sure exact what the name of the shop was called.

 

Yet again the candle Lantern is from B&M and the elephants are from Thailand when I went. I also thought putting candles found them made a lovely feature on my window sill.

 

I finally have got a make up vanity desk which I never have had one always wanted one though. I really like this feature in the room  and hoping to try and keep it nice and tidy. I must say though when I am getting ready it isn't as tidy as this picture shows as I may have tidied it before I took the picture.
